Georgia C. Leslie, daughter of Samuel D. and Lucinda Musick was born February 16, 1878, in Cole County, Mo., and departed this life December 8, 1935, at the family home, 528 North White, Kansas City, Mo., being at the time of her death 57 years, 10 months and 21 days old. She was married to Samuel M. Leslie February 10, 1918.
Mrs. Leslie when quite young moved with her parents to Moniteau County and there spent the greater part of her girlhood days. In 1921 she moved to Independence, Mo., where she spent the remainder of her life.
Mrs. Leslie is survived by three loving and devoted step-children, William E., Marie and Edith Leslie, all of the home address, her father, S. D. Musick of Olean, two brothers, D. A. Musick of Jefferson City and W. H. Musick of Independence, Mo, and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Procter of Olean, Mo; her mother, husband, one sister and one brother having preceded her in death.
She confessed her faith in Christ and joined the Olean Christian Church in 1898, later transferring her membership to the Bethany Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo.
