Born in Dallas, October 30, 1953. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, November 30, 2019. Paul attended Bryan Adams High School, Graduated from North Texas State, now University of North Texas. Received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1983. Paul made his career as a Dentist in Carrollton for 36 years.
Paul is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary Durie; His son and daughter in law, Paul and Ana Stone; Grandsons, Ethan and Everett Stone; Brother, Barry Stone; Brother and sister in law, Mike and Vicki Stone. The family thanks his caregivers, Ana Rivas, Assa Konare, and Joy Udorah.
Paul had colon cancer in 2017 that metastasized into his liver this past June. He fought valiantly before he was received into God's hands. His passion was golf, hitting balls every day, and playing every weekend. His love was Texas, and was enamored with Texas history and proud to be a native Dallasite. Paul's laugh and incredible sense of service will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Valley View Christian Church, 17601 Marsh Lane, Dallas, Texas 75287 on December 3rd at 1:00 pm. 972-245-8822.
