She was born March 19, 1924, in Danforth, the daughter of William and Jo Hannah Duits Thomas.
Mrs. Busick was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.
She married Ray Busick, March 12, 1945, in Lawrenceville. He survives in Watseka.
Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law: Thomas and Marilyn Busick of Sheldon; one daughter and son-in-law: Chloe Ann and Charles Schindler of Kirkland, one brother and four sisters-in-law: Paul and Sandy Thomas of Cissna Park, Bertha Thomas of Milford, Florence Thomas of Kentucky, and Mary Ann Thomas of Watseka; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Helen Thomas of Crescent City, Betty Conrad of Watseka, and Irma and Glen Schiewe of Crescent City; four grandchildren and spouses: Laura and Jesse Spain, Chad and Wendy Busick, Sarah and Ryan Keef, and Ryan and Kristina Busick; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Thursday.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka with Pastor Donald Love officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watseka.
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice, Calvary Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice.
