LOIS CATHERINE BARD WRIGHT
AGE 85 YEARS

Lois Catherine Bard Wright, of Amberson, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Green Ridge Village in Newville, PA. Born February 8, 1934, in Williamsport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frances and Ethel Peppermen Bard.

Lois was the last of her immediate family. She married Grant L. Wright on June 20, 1952, and together they had seven children. Lois was a military wife who followed her husband on all his deployments all over the world with their seven children in tow. She worked for the Amberson Post Office for many years.

Surviving are her children, Linda (Bruce) Vogel, of Kansas, David Wright, of Harrisburg, PA, Diane (Frank) Myers, of Newburg, PA, Cynthia (Gene) Chestnut, of Newville, John Wright, of Newville, and Lisa (Robert) Chestnut, of Newville; son-in-law, Donald Price, of Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grant L. Wright, who passed away on February 3, 1986; her daughter, Kimberly Wright Price; daughter-in-law, Teresa Wright; sisters, Shirley Royer, and Mary Fraatz; and her sister-in-law and “traveling buddy”, Mary Wright Seyler.

INTERMENT: Amberson Union Cemetery.
