On January 14, 1953, Cynthia Elaine Kinnebrew Dennis graced the world with her dynamic presence. She was the fourth child born to Eddie Lorenzo and Doris Elaine Kinnebrew in Rome, GA.
Cynthia worked as a Nurse at both Floyd Hospital and Redmond Park Hospital in Rome, GA. In 1992, Cynthia began residing in the Atlanta, GA area and began working at Georgia Regional Hospital. She is known for her caring heart and warm spirit. Cynthia saved the lives of many through her skills as a nurse by sharing medical advice and wisdom to all she loved. After over 35 years of service, Cynthia retired from Georgia Regional Hospital in 2011.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a daughter, Iris Lucretia Weaver (Abe), a son, Larry Craig Dennis, Jr. (Latonya) both of Atlanta, GA, six grandchildren, OnTaricka Keaton, Ab’Briel Weaver, Iyana Weaver, O’Necia Weaver, Joy Dennis, and Zoe Dennis; three brothers, Lorenzo Kinnebrew, Larry Kinnebrew, and Derris Kinnebrew; four sisters, Mattie Kinnebrew, Iris Kinnebrew, Sharon Jones ( Clarence ), and LaJuana Kinnebrew.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Lorenzo Kinnebrew and her mother, Doris Elaine Kinnebrew.
The funeral service will be Monday, February 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Thankful Baptist Church, Rome, GA. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. Ms. Dennis will lie instate on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home (Riverdale location ) from 2-5 pm. On Sunday, February, 26, 2017 at F. K. Jones Funeral Home, the family will receive friends from 4-5 pm.
