Ms. Thomas was born Nov. 27, 1937, in New Hope, SC, a daughter of Julius Edward Thomas and Anna Bell Outen Thomas. She was one of five founding member of the Cordesville Pentecostal Holiness Church and was the last living. Ms. Thomas enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and reading. She was also a former employee of William Heller, The Sewing Room, and the lunchroom for Berkeley County schools. Ms. Thomas was the widow of Richard Thomas.
Surviving are, two daughters, Kathy Bazemore of Macedonia, and Tammy Thomas of Huger; two sons, Tony E. Thomas, Sr., and Legrand Thomas both of Cordesville; a sister, Shirley Hill of Moncks Corner; a brother Harry Harvey of Summerville; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
