Paula grew up in Irving until her family moved to Oklahoma City, where she then graduated from Putnam City High School. She lived in St Louis, Missouri for two decades and then returned to Irving, Texas where she worked and eventually retired from Merrill Lynch.
Survived by her son, Randal Alan Matz, her father, Lester D. Covington, her sister, Martha Vargas and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Davis and her mother, Alice Joan Covington.
