Sebastian J. Aresco, 73, of Rockfall, passed away Thursday November 28, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. (note: Rockfall is part of Middlefield)
He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Joseph M. and Elvira (Carta) Aresco.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served proudly with the US Air Force.
Prior to his retirement, Seb was an auditor with the State of CT Treasurer’s Office.
He was very dedicated to his town, Saint Colman Church, and Middlefield’s Democratic political party.
He enjoyed many of his days by the ocean where he would go boating or would stop for a lobster or whole belly clam roll at Lenny and Joe’s Fish Tale.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Gannon and her husband Sean Gannon of Rockfall, and his daughter Andrea Richards and her husband Patrick Richards of Portland; and his sister Anna Pestritto of Tampa Florida.
Seb is also survived by his companion of many years Joan Biagioni of Wethersfield.

Funeral services will be held at Biega Funeral Home, Middletown, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Colman Church, Middlefield.
Burial with military honors will be in the State Veteran’s Cemetery, Middletown.
