James Thomas (Jimmy) Skaggs, age 77, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton. He was the son of the late Louis and Cassie Kemp Skaggs. He was born in Green County and retired from Douglas Furniture in Illinois and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by four nieces: Orthellia (Weldon) Carter of Louisville, Barbara Bennett of Florida, Connie Moss of Mississippi and Sherry Moss of Oklahoma; and a special friend, Louise White of Edmonton.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Burris and Frances Moss.
Burial will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
