Animal Actor, Internet Sensation. She was the runt of a litter and was born with several genetic mutations including an extreme form of feline dwarfism that caused her limbs and lower jaw to be quite small causing her not be able to keep her tongue in her mouth. She also suffered from osteopetrosis and was on medication. While filming “Lil Bub & Friendz” in 2012, she was diagnosed with osteopetrosis by a specialist in Indianapolis after having an episode. Her short legs and osteopetrosis restricted her movement but she was called "a fantastic waddler." She was the subject of groundbreaking genetic and biological research, and helped raise over $700,000 for animals in need through "meet and greets" both at animal shelters in her hometown and around the country. She also posed for a PETA campaign that encourages people to spay and neuter their pets. She also had several media appearances including ones on Good Morning America in August 2012, as well as on Today and The View in April 2013. She also appears in the 2016 film “Nine Lives” and plays Parsley the Cat in the “I’ll Be Next Door for Christmas.” Her biggest act was in “Lil Bub & Friendz” that is a documentary that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2013. Keyboard Cat, Nyan Cat and Grumpy Cat also stars in the film. Capper and Eisner decided to make a full-length film after meeting Lil Bub and seeing the turnout of 10,000 people at the 2012 Internet Cat Video Film Festival in Minneapolis. “Lil Bub & Friendz” won the Tribeca Online Festival Best Feature Film. Lil BUB died in her sleep and according to her owner, she had been fighting a bone infection at the time of her death.
