Death claimed John J. Schnetzer, 75, late Monday evening, at his home, 265 North Park Avenue, Neenah, following a two weeks' illness.

Mr. Schnetzer was born July 19* (*17th), 1868, in Pontiac, Ill., but had been a resident of Neenah since a boy. He was a former cigar maker, and manufactured his product at his home. Mr. Schnetzer was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, Holy Name society and St. Margaret Mary church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Phillip Braun, Neenah, and Mrs. Louis Hannen* (*Haanen), Green Bay; six sons, A. M., Fred and Harold Schnetzer, all of Neenah; Richard, Sheboygan; Sylvester, Manitowoc, and Lieutenant Joseph Schnetzer, who is serving in the army.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Pelton-Eckardt Funeral Home, and at 9 o'clock at St. Margaret Mary Church, the Rev. Joseph P. Glueckstein conducting. Burial will be in St. Margaret cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from Wednesday morning until the hour of the funeral. Holy Name society will recite the Rosary at 7:30 o'clock Thursday night at the funeral home.
