Gene was a veteran of WWII, he was a retiree of the Montgomery County Public Schools, and the Department of the Army.
Gene leaves to cherish his memory his loyal wife, Ann M. Harris; three sons, Lawrence Andrew “Spickey” Harris, Walter “Bubba” Harris, and Andre S. Farley; a loving daughter, Darcelle Eugenia “De” Harris Walker; two stepsons, Allen Martin and Leonard Whitmore, Jr,; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and many others.
Service was held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Interment was held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
