Adolph Floyd Heffington, age 84, of Maumelle, Arkansas died at Stonehaven Assisted Living September 2, 2008. He was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church since September 14, 1938 where he was a long time deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was preceded in death by parents Isaac and Mary Heffington.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy Mae Heffington; daughter, Phyllis Hillman of Maumelle; grandson, Michael Hillman (DoriAnn) of Rockwall, Texas; great-grandson, Jacob Hillman of Rockwall, Texas; and special nieces, Dean Richards (Raymond) of Little Rock, Linda Griebel (Jay) of Star City, Sandy Hardy (Wayne) of North Little Rock and many other close relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008, at Baring Cross Baptist Church, 7541 Warden Rd., Sherwood, Arkansas 72120. Interment will follow at Bayou Meto Cemetery, 1700 North First Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
