Betty, 82, of Mason, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was born to John and Wilma (Winchester) Wiltzer.

Betty worked for the State of Michigan for many years. She also was a part owner in Carson City Floral for several years. Betty was a member of Eden United Brethren Church in Mason where she faithfully attended. She enjoyed antiquing, decorating and gardening. She and her husband, Ron enjoyed renovating older homes, fixing them up and selling them.

She and Ron lived in Houghton Lake before moving to Florida and later moving back to Houghton Lake. She was a member of the Harrison Moose Lodge and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in both Mason/ Holt and Houghton Lake. Betty was also a member of the Sweet Adeline’s singing group in Mason.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ronald B. French; brother, Clyde Wiltzer; step-daughter, Christine Baker and step-son, Craig French.

Surviving are her daughters, Lisa (Thomas) Guarnaccia, Robbin (Hezekiah) Shifflett, Lynn Marie Waite, Roberta (Daniel) Klaver; step-children, Lynn Carew, Connie Dunn, Dana (Lynda) French, Carrie French; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, John (Phyllis) Wiltzer; sister, Nancy (Don) Edwards as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service was held at a later date.
