The daughter of John George Emmert and Margaretha/Margaret Melick. She married Friederich "Fritz" Siebrecht on August 30, 1870 in Zanesville, Ohio. Per the 1900 census, they had five children together prior to his death in 1883, 3 of whom died very early in life. I can only find records for 4 of these 5 children. On the death certificate of her son William, their surname is alternately spelled as "Seabreacht."

Mrs. Mary A. Siebrecht, aged 84, widow of Frederick Siebrecht, died Saturday in the home of her grandson, Albert Geis, 2607 South Eighteenth st. extension. She was born in Zanesville, O., but came to Pittsburgh at an early age and was married here. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church, and of the women's conference. Besides her grandson she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clara Smith, of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held in St. Michael's church at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
