Born in Greenville, SC, she is a daughter of Roy Russell Ray, Jr. and Patricia Patterson Ray. Dawn was the Communications/IT Manager & Software Developer at Bald Island Country Club and she was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her two sons, Milo and Alex Jackson; a brother, Russell C. Ray and his wife Christal; 3 nephews, Chris, Josh and Braeden Ray; a loving aunt, Nancy McClain and her husband Frank; and a cousin, Jeff McClain.
