Thomas “Joe” Cobb, Sr., 74, husband of Margaret Holcombe Cobb, of Greenville, died Saturday, November 30, 2019.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Arthur and Ina Cobb.
Joe served in the United States Air Force and he was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
In addition to his loving wife of 55 years, he is survived by a son, Thomas Joe Cobb, Jr., and his wife, Sally Ann of Jefferson, GA; a brother, Edward E. Cobb, and his wife, Linda of Camden, SC; two grandchildren, Griffin Thomas Cobb, and Ella Vivian Cobb; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Robert Dubose, Interim Healthcare, Wound Healing and Upstate Cardiology.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery West.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville County Animal Care, 328 Furman Hall Rd, Greenville, SC 29609, or to American Diabetes Association, 107 Westpark Blvd #220, Columbia, SC 29210.
