Baker, Evelyn (nee Walsh): Passed away at the Westmount Nursing Home on Sunday January 17, 2010 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Edward (1981). Dear mother of John Baker of Plattsville and Christine Hallman of St. Clements. Grandmother to Christa Hallman of Kitchener and Andrew Hallman of Toronto. Great-grandmother to Autumn and Elle Bosse. Predeceased by sisters Vera Begin, Eileen Menagh, Jean Black and Isabelle Fuller.
Evelyn’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2 �" 4 and 7 �" 9 pm Tuesday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers 8:45 pm Tuesday evening with Fr. Mark Sullivan officiating. Prayers will also be offered in the funeral home 10: 35 am Wednesday, January 20, 2010 followed by procession to St. Anne’s R.C. Church, 268 East St., Kitchener for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Paul Begin officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
