Marvin Dale Wright, 70, passed away Nov. 27, 2019, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Jan. 15, 1949 in Beaver, Okla. to David E. and Edna L. (Arnold) Wright. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Pruitt) Wright for 46 years.
Marvin served in the Army from 1969-1975. He was a member of the Old Guard at Fort Myer, Va. He worked 28 years for Crane Company and 13 years at Kennametal, both in Rogers, Ark.
After retiring in 2014, Marvin was able to spend more time enjoying the things he loved, like spending time with his family, and, especially, playing with his granddaughters and going to their activities.
Marvin was also an avid sports fan; his favorites were football and baseball. He enjoyed watching games on TV, but attending the games in person was always a highlight.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Rogers, Ark., and their daughters: Jennifer Hinterthuer (Scott) and Kimberly Bracht (fiance' Rodney Johns), both of Bentonville, Ark., and brothers Larry P. (Linda), of Bentonville, Ark. and Robert A. (Pat), of Utah. Also surviving are grandchildren Chloe and Audrey Bracht and Hannah and Abigail Hinterthuer, an aunt, Evelyn Clark, and several other relatives.
A visitation will be Mon., Dec. 2, 2019, from 5-7 pm, and the funeral will be Tues., Dec. 3, 2019, at 11 am; both will be at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel [Hwy. 102/Hudson Road, Rogers, Ark.]. Burial will follow in Little Flock Cemetery in Little Flock, Ark.
