Charlie was the son of Earl Glenn Bussell and the late Linda Jeanette Bullins Bussell.

Charlie was one of a kind, and there will never be another like him. He was full of life and loved being in the outdoors four-wheeling, hunting ginseng, catching snakes that he would scare his sisters with, swimming and being on the water, along with anything else he could find adventure in. Charlie was an artist; having the gift to look at something one time, then bring it to life on paper. Above all, he was a great dad to his son Bradley, a wonderful brother and friend. A protector, defender and champion for his family and friends, Charlie was loyal and felt it his duty to watch out for those he loved. A special young man gone too soon from us, but his smile and laugh never forgotten.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother Israel Allen Bussell, grandmothers Alberta Bussell and Mary Bullins, grandfather Rufus Bussell, uncles Mike Bullins, Bill Bullins, Gene Bussell, and Joe Rufus Partin, aunts Rosetta Partin and Sherry Partin, and cousin Billy Partin and his daughter Sherry Ann Rose.

Charlie is survived by the following members of his family, father Earl Bussell and stepmother Cheryl Bussell, son Bradley Isaiah Bussell, sisters Trevia Aker and Jessica Nooch Smith, uncles Jerry Bussell, Ronda Sutton, and Joe Randall (Mona Lisa) Bullins, aunts Mildred Kay Daniels, Burnette Mize, and Diana (Chuck) White, niece and nephew Mahalie and Josiah Aker, sister-in-law Corina Nooch Smith, mother of his son, Tonya Quinton, cousins Jonathan Partin, Michael Partin, Joseph Partin, Jonathan Mize, Jamie Mize, and Kevin Mize.

And a host of other relatives, and many, many friends who will miss him sorely.
