Death of JESSE SWEAT
An esteemed correspondent furnishes us the following, from Pearson, under the date of April 15th:
After all that loving hands and skillful doctors could do, our friend, Jesse Sweat, died of typhoid fever at Leland, Georgia, last Friday afternoon, leaving a wife and two small children.
He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sweat, of this place, and the remains were interred at Red Bluff Cemetery, a few miles from here. His wife and babies will live with Mrs. Sweat's mother in Douglas.
