Wanda Fae Bishop, 86, of Hamilton Township, entered into our Lord's everlasting care on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wanda moved to Somerville, NJ after marrying and in 1963 settled in Hamilton where she raised her family.

Wanda was predeceased by her parents, James and Toria Rooker; her brother in law Richard Bishop and her grandchildren, Candace, Reed, and Paige Bishop. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ken Bishop; son Tim Bishop and his wife Susan, daughter Brenda Lestician and her husband Guy; her grandchildren, Laine Bishop McMullen (Andrew), Brooke Bishop, David Lestician (Amanda), Christopher Lestician, Christine Lestician, and Nicholas Lestician; her sisters, Helen Johnson (Foy), Kathleen Adkison (Ralph), Ramona Draper (Lloyd), Sharon Crowe and brother James Rooker (Judy); sister in law Nancy Bishop and brother in law Robert Bishop (Kelly) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Wanda loved calling her family and friends to check up on them and exchange the latest news. She was unwavering in her loyalty and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren. Throughout her life, she enjoyed crafting, ceramics, and making her home feel warm for all who entered by decorating for the changing seasons.

She loved her country and would be seen wearing her red, white, and blue proudly. She also loved to spend Sundays with her church family and then passionately watching her Dallas Cowboys. Wanda lended her beautiful singing voice every Sunday and especially enjoyed caroling at Christmas. She will be so deeply missed, but her love never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Egypt Church of Christ, 97 Lakewood Rd, New Egypt, NJ 08533.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
