Angela Catherine Perkins (Memaw) died peacefully on November 22, 2019 in Tomball, Texas, surrounded by her closest loved ones. She was born Neelie Catherine Miller in Brenham, Texas on November 27, 1923 to Wallace Miller and Mary (Jozwiak) Miller.

Angela was a member of the Polish National Alliance and All Saints Catholic Church. She had a passion for thread art, crocheting thousands of keepsakes for family and friends over the years. Memaw was the matriarch of five generations of family, many of whom she was instrumental in raising, and loved them all fiercely.

She will be remembered for her vivid storytelling, her immense love and generosity, and the enjoyment of her favorite Shipley’s donut or Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream.

She is predeceased by her father Wallace Miller, mother Mary (Jozwiak) Miller, husband Arthur “Perk”, daughter and son-in-law Barbara Ann (Perkins) and Jimmy Swick, brothers Bill Miller, Charles Miller and Albin Miller, sisters Dorothy Miller and Baby Louise Miller.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Diane Linnette (Perkins) and Ken McAlpine and her sister Florence Miller. Grandchildren: James and Brenda Swick, Melissa Swick, Michael and Deanna Swick, Nicholas Derrick, Meaghan and Nathan Fine, Brittany and Joseph Noska, Ian and Katie McAlpine and Connor McAlpine. Great Grandchildren: Tara and Jon Powell, Matthew Swick, Hailey Swick, Gwendolyn Derrick, Ezra Noska, Ellis Noska, Drew Noska, Paige McAlpine, Shane McAlpine and her namesake Catherine Diane Fine. Great Great Grandchildren: Alexander Powell and Baby Powell due Summer 2020.

Pallbearers are James Swick, Michael Swick, Matthew Swick, Nicholas Derrick, Nathan Fine and Joseph Noska. Honorary Pallbearers are her friend Boyd Cornell, her nephews Clifford Miller and Dusty Kendrick and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
