Kenneth (Reiff) Cripe, 87, of Spokane, WA. died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002 at Holy Family Hospital of Spokane. He was born March 5, 1914 to Curtis and Emma (Reiff) Cripe in Wabash County, IN; he married Juanita Badskey Aug. 6, 1938 and she survives.
Mr. Cripe graduated with the Chester High School Class of 1932. He electrically wired many homes in Whitley County when REMC was first started. He farmed in Whitley County, then moved to Colorado in 1947, where he was an electrical engineer and carpenter.
Other survivors include sons Dr. Lloyd Cripe of Sequim, WA, and Gene Cripe of Pendleton, OR; daughter Rosalie Graves of Spokane, WA; four grandchildren; three brothers - Guy and Paul Cripe of Claypool and North Manchester, Indiana, respectively, and Quentin of San Jose, CA; two sisters - Mrs. Walter (Doris) Niccum of North Manchester and Mrs. C. T. (Gladys) Price of Scottsdale, AZ. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held in the Spokane Church of God.
