Cheryl L. Bailey, 49, of Richland passed away on November 24, 2019 at Country Manor Living in Jerome after a courageous battle with cancer. Born January 5, 1970 in Johnstown, daughter of Charles and Olive (McCombie) Bailey. Preceded in death by her mother Olive, grandparents Walter and Mary McCombie and William and Elizabeth Bailey. Survived by son Aaron T. Rager, father Charles married to Lynnea (Kelley), brothers Clifford, Curtis married to Cindy (Green), Dean married to Jennifer (Hartrampf), David married to Cindy (Grafe), stepbrother Brad Kelley, stepsister Sarah Kelley and 15 nieces and 11 nephews.

Cheryl was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech. She was a graduate of IUP in Vocational Education and had worked and taught cosmetology for over 25 years for Vo-Tech, PA Academy of Cosmetology, and several others. Cheryl enjoyed being with family and friends. She also loved singing, making crafts and wreaths, and spending time with her son, who was the greatest joy in her life.

She was a longtime member of the Elton Zion United Methodist Church where Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Daryl Penrod and Pastor Len Findley, officiating. Friends received from 3–8 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Avenue, Johnstown PA 15904. (Near PA Drivers Center and Crematory).Private Interment will be at Mt Hope Cemetery on Friday, November 29, 2019. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Windber Hospice or Elton UM church in honor of Cheryl.

She loved her family, church family and friends with all her heart and appreciated all the love, kindness and support from everyone. The family would like to thank everyone involved in caring for and supporting Cheryl over the past several years. We would especially like to thank all the staff at Country Manor Living and Windber Hospice for their excellent care and compassion in her time of need.
