Linda Jean Andrews Bostick was born at the Garnier Clinic in Bastrop, Louisiana on September 26, 1953 to Willard Joe Andrews and Dora Watkins Andrews. She passed away peacefully at her home in Bastrop, surrounded by those she loved, on the morning of November 29, 2019. Mrs. Bostick was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She will be remembered as a devoted and beloved, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and "Nana". Linda is preceded in death by her mother Dora Andrews and her brother, Willard Randall "Randy" Andrews.
Mrs. Bostick is survived by her husband, Donnie Bostick; her daughter, Tracy Fortune ; three step-sons, Craig Bostick and wife, Elise, Chris Bostick, and Curt Bostick; six grandchildren, Josh Bostick, Megan Bostick, Matthew Bostick, Aaron Bostick, Jonah Bostick, and Aaric Bostick. She is also survived by her father, Willard Joe Andrews; two sisters, Sharon Gail White and Carolyn Nell Fletcher and husband, Mike; two "special sisters" and life-long friends, Patsy Andrews Reynolds and Lenora Freeman Sukey; her devoted canine companion Tedi "Lil Bit"; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship and visitation on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 beginning at 12 noon followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Bro. Mike Loveday will officiate the service. Committal and burial will follow at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
Serving as pallbearers are Craig Bostick, Chris Bostick, Trey Maxwell, Steven White, Jason Fletcher, and Joey Fletcher.
