Greg worked in the Riverview Coal Mine, he loved the outdoors, fishing, helping others, being with his friends, and especially the motorcycle club he was a member of, Stormriders, he was known as Boom. Greg is survived by his parents, Rick and June Rushing of Shawneetown, 2 daughters, Emma and Olivia Rushing of Herrin, IL, a brother, Michael (Karissa) Rushing of Mt. Vernon, IN, and a sister, Heather (Roger) Heffington of Shawneetown.Half Brother Robbie Harrington, Harrisburg He was also survived by a special aunt, Liz Harrington of Harrisburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Greg will be on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. His funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in the Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown.
