Mr. Corey Jermaine Moore, age 42, of Rose Hill, died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Born February 2, 1977, Corey was an an educator within the Duplin County school system. He taught at EE Smith Middle School, Warsaw Middle School and was currently teaching Social Studies at Warsaw Elementary School at the time of his unexpected death.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6 to 7pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 3 pm at Warsaw Elementary School, 158 Lanefield Road, Warsaw, NC. The Reverend Michael Maddox will officiate the service . Burial will follow in the Farrior Family Cemetery, Rose Hill.
Survivors include his father, Lacey Moore, Jr. of Kenansville; two brothers, Lacey Moore, III (Lawanda) of Rose Hill and Sherman Miller of Kenansville; two god-children, Lyrie Johnson of Jacksonville and Onieka Williams of Kenansville; special friend, Theresa Sutton of Warsaw; nine aunts; four uncles; one great aunt Jacqueline Kenan (Horace) of Teachey; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
