Mrs. Christina Lynn Simmons, age 56 of Livingston, passed from this life on Wednesday afternoon, November 27, 2019, from her residence.
She was born in Overton County on June 14, 1963, to the late Howard and Auda Avo Hammock Ledbetter. Christina loved to sing, go to church, spend time with her son Nicholas, and worship her Savior.
Christina leaves behind her son Nicholas Simmons of Knoxville; brothers Harold Ledbetter of Livingston, Daryle Ledbtter and wife Lisa of Celina, and Ricky Ledbetter and wife Tammy of Livingston; sisters Sandy Lawson and husband Bryan of Oxford, North Carolina, Helen Lynn and husband Johnny of Gainesboro, and Nora Davidson and husband Michael of Livingston; nieces Stefania Gustafson, Emily Lawson, and Hanna Davidson; nephews Adam Lawson, Reuben Davidson, Logan Ledbetter, and Matthew Lynn; mother-in-law Ann NeSmith of Morristown, Tennessee; and special friend Edith Roberts of Livingston.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Christina Simmons was preceded in death by her husband Scott Alexander Simmons and her brother-in-law Chris Simmons.
Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Lynn Simmons were conducted Sunday, December 1, 2019, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Derek Copeland officiated. Burial followed in the Ledbetter Family Cemetery.
