Dianne Ellen King, 69 of Kokomo, passed away at her home Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 3:45am. She was born October 31, 1948 to Lewis Hite and Esther (Chapman) Hite. Dianne married Jerald Leroy January 16, 1968 and he survives her. Dianne loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She made the best homemade bread and pies. She enjoyed shopping, and was a glass collector. Most of her cabinets were full of the glasswork she collected over the years. Dianne was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was the best “Nan” ever. She will be missed dearly. Dianne is survived by her husband Jerry, daughters; Debbie Parks (Bobby), Kelly King (Mick), and Lisa Cooper (Trevor), son; Larry King (Georganna), sisters; Susanne Slaughter and Kathy Hite, grandchildren, Cody, Brittney, Devin, Caleb, Gage, Jeremy, and Amber, great grandchildren; Zachary, Larry, Aleighia, Addi, MaKenna and JJ and a deceased niece Lori Slaughter, whom Dianne thought of, as one of her own. Services for Dianne will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel at 3pm.
