She was a dedicated employee for over 28 years with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans serving in many different capacities, most recently as Director of Incarnate Word Head Start Center. Loving and devoted mother of Ryan Louis Burton. Beloved daughter of Mary Penn Parker and the late Louis Parker, Jr. Sister of Gale P. Thompson, Dorothy M. Parker, Wendell (Roxanne) Parker, Sr., Tremeda P. (Lawrence, Jr.) Stevenson and the late Louis Parker, III. Devoted sister friend of Cathleen Baudy; also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, 2 godchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
