SPRINGDALE - Glen Macklin Rogers, age 98, of Springdale died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, in Springdale, Ark. He was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Kingston, Ark., to Andrew Jefferson (Jeff) and Lillie Bee McFerrin Rodgers.

Mack was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lorena Walker Rogers, son Darrel Rogers, daughter Kathy Rogers, and daughter-in-law Linda Rogers.

Mack is survived by his wife of 24 years, Virginia Ames Rogers; grandchildren Diana Rogers, Janet Huneycutt Lightner, Darren Rogers, Tim Rogers and their spouses. He is survived by many great and great-great-grandchildren as well.

Mack was a veteran of the Air Force, serving his country during World War II, and served as mayor of Lowell, Ark., for nine years.

He loved his family, and liked nothing better than to spin a good story - and he was very good at it.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home, 3236 W. Huntsville Ave., Springdale, Ark., 72762, with visitation at 9 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Darrel and Linda Rogers Kids Camp Scholarship Fund at Trinity Fellowship, 1100 Rolling Hills Drive, Fayetteville, Ark., 72703.
