Florence Darlene Kee-Cooper, 77, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 1:22 AM. Born October 26, 1942 in Hagerstown, MD, she is the daughter of the late Lillian E. Kee and James Bland. She is survived by one daughter, Dr. Vallerie B. Kee; two grandchildren, Alijeh G. Kee-Campbell and Justice O. H. Kee-Campbell; one sister, Lyn R. Hill (Larry Hill), two nephews, Travis L. Hill and Terrence S. Hill.
Darlene graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1960. Shortly thereafter, she received her LPN from the University of Baltimore, and her BA and MA from Hood College. She worked at Washington County Hospital, the Health Department, Antietam Rehabilitation Center, in addition to working as a private duty nurse.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and two brothers, Bishop Derek H. Kee, and Brett R. Kee.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11 AM at Greater Campher Temple, King’s Apostle Church on 125 W. Bethel Street, Hagerstown, MD.
Interment: Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 6PM to 8PM
