Sylvia E. Jones, 100, of Troy, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.
Sylvia was born on October 30, 1919, in Pomona, Illinois.
She worked for Hunter Packing Company for 18 years, a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, and the co-ed Sunday School class.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Tripp and Myrtle (Randolph) Tripp, her first husband Carl Ellis and her second husband Arthur "Art" Jones, and she was also preceded in death by her daughter in law Sandy Ellis, four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are her children; W Ellis, Lila (Harry) and R (P) Ellis, 10 Grand Children and 9 Great Grand Children.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Monday at Pettett Funeral Home, and there will be a gravesite service at 1:30 pm Monday at Dutch Ridge Cemetery near Pomona.
