Marjorie Maring Mitchell 1943-2019 Marge Mitchell, age 76; passed away Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 after a long illness.
Services will be held Sunday November 17 at 1pm in Moore Funeral Home chapel.
She was born in Brownsville, Texas. She attended Texas A&I University, and later graduated from UT Arlington. Marge retired in 1996 after working as the IT Regional Network Manager for the Texas Dept. of Human Services.
She enjoyed paddling, bicycling, and camping, and she was a devoted Cowboys fan.
Marge was the best single parent, partner, sister, aunt, and friend that anyone could ever hope to have…we will miss her terribly.
Marge is survived by her loving son, David and her devoted partner of 30 years, Diane Northcutt. Other survivors include: Keith Maring – brother, Kathy Wade – sister & Tim Wade, Donna Johnson – sister & Don Johnson, Tessa and Clint Goolsby, Sara and Trey Asberry, Holly Wade, Chara and Brad Rollins, Janna and Skye Doney, Lara and Trevor Jordan, Deborah and Lance Clack, Sandra and Josh Longoria, Bruce and Ronda Long, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Marge was preceded in death by parents, Keith Maring, Sr. and Anne Maring Childers; and her sister, Phyllis Long.
