Melanie Leigh Green Adams
Funeral services for Melanie Leigh Green Adams will begin Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Blackwater Baptist Church with Brother Wayne Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Blackwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Ms. Adams, 46, of Toomsuba, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 in Toomsuba.
Melanie was born and raised in Meridian/Toomsuba and held various jobs throughout her young life. She was the loving mother of a daughter that she cherished and adored. Melanie will be remembered as the loving caregiver of her grandmother. She treasured their relationship and enjoyed their times together. Her patience and personality kept her grandmother at ease during some of the most difficult times. She made friends everywhere she went and will be greatly missed by many. She was a member of First Baptist church of Lauderdale
Melanie is survived by her daughter, Madison Adams of Toomsuba; mother, Linda Ward Crane of Toomsuba; brother, Robbie (Melanie) Green of Thomasville, GA.; grandmother, Mary Ward Ross Upchurch of Blackwater; uncles and aunts, Larry (Judy) Ward and Vickie (Allan) Singletary; nephew and niece, Hunter and Holly Green of Thomasville, GA; as well as a host of extended family.
Ms. Adams is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joe Bryant Ross and Albert Edward Ward, both of Blackwater, MS.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, Shane Adams, Eric Collins, Ward Adams, Allen Ward, and Ryan Ward.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Blackwater Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
