BECKY LORRAINE MCCULLEY JACKSON, a resident of the Sarah Community in Tate County, Mississippi near Senatobia and wife of Richard L. Jackson died at 8:20 A.M. Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Baptist DeSoto County Hospital in Southaven where she had been a patient for four days. She was 51 years of age and died following a three-year illness.

Services for Mrs. Jackson were conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, May 25th at the Graveside with Rev. Don McCulley, Pastor of the Dresden First Baptist Church at Dresden, Tennessee officiating. Interment followed in the Walls Cemetery at Braden, Tennessee. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-West Chapel of Oakland.

Born in Somerville, TN on July 22, 1957, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Libby W. McCulley and Ola Virginia Eubanks McCulley.

She was educated both in Braden, Tennessee and at the local Fayette Ware High School in Somerville and was married February 28, 1981 to Richard L. Jackson, a retired Mechanic and native of Fayette County, TN who survives.

Mrs. Jackson was a devoted homemaker throughout her life and resided in the Gallaway Community in Tennessee before moving to the Sarah Community eleven years ago.

She was a member of the Gallaway Baptist Church and enjoyed softball games, attending auctions and preparing food for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of twenty-eight years, Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughter, Kristie Danielle Jackson of Sarah, MS; two sons, Steve Allen Jackson of Sarah, MS and Dustin Wayne Jackson, Sr. of Senatobia, MS; two sisters, Mary Frances McCulley of Gallaway, TN and Elizabeth Lowrance of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Frank McCulley and Terry McCulley, both of Gallaway, TN and four grandchildren: Brandon Lee Jackson, Randy Allen Jackson, Dustin Wayne Jackson, Jr. and Jaylyn Richard Jackson.

Those honored to serve as casket bearers were family members and friends.
