Jack E. Russell, 83, of Havana passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 4:35 p.m. at Havana Healthcare Center in Havana.
He was born on March 21, 1936 in Mason County to John and Althea (Chapman) Russell. He married Betty Mitchell on August 24, 1968 in Cook County, Illinois.
Jack is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Christine Russell, Christopher Russell, Theresa Ayala, Jon Russell and Troy Anderson; grandchildren, Nicholas Russell and Epiphany Miller and great-grandchildren, Symphony Lynn and Holden Russell. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Russell and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jack served as a Ranger in the U.S. Army. He was a jack of all trades, working as a welder, a barber and many other professions. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid duck and deer hunter.
Rest in peace Jack, you will be missed but never forgotten.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
