JOHNSTON CITY, DIES
Mrs. Ila Grant, 74, of Johnston City died Saturday at her home.
She was born Dec. 12, 1890 in Galatia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jones. She was married to Fred Arron who died Oct. 29, 1926. Later she married George Grant, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include; sons, Carl, of Brownfield; Fred and Ralph, both of Johnston City, Luther of West Frankfort, and Ned of Florida; daughters, Mrs. Zonia Shaffer, of Crown Point, Ind., and Mrs. Eileen Wood, of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Murman and Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Herrin City Cemetery.
