Roger was born to William (Bill) and Edith Sharp who moved to Brighton in 1967. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1972 and from Northeastern Junior College in 1974. He spent many years driving and working on trucks for JC Trucking of Denver. He enjoyed going on fishing trips to Cebolla Creek near Gunnison. Roger was a kind and welcoming person to everyone he met. He enjoyed having people stop by and come hang out in his garage with him. He loved going out to dinner with friends and family and he helped people whenever he could. Roger was known for never wanting to get rid of anything, he saved everything he could. Keeping things gave him joy of remembering special moments with the people he loved. One of Rogers greatest joys in life was his cat, Satellite . Survived by son James Sharp of Brighton, son Sam (Carrie) Sharp of Chicago, sister Mary (Jeff) Bell, niece Sarah (Scott) Lemke, and nephew Andrew Bell, all of Brighton. Services held at Tabor-Rice Funeral home on November 29th
