SUFFRAGIST, 99, DIES AT WINTER PARK HOME
ORLANDO, April 3 - (INS) Arrangemetns for a memorial service on May 4 were being made Monday for MRs. Mary Hillard Loines, pioneer suffragist, who would have observed her 100th birthday anniversary on that date.
Mrs. Loines, member of a prominent New England family, died at her home in Winter Park late Saturday night after an illness of two days. She was a close associate of such leaders of the suffrage movement as Susan B Anthony, Anna Howard Shaw and Carrie Chapman Catt. She was born in London in 1844 and came to America when four years old.

Mrs. Loines was a 12 year winter resident of the Winter Park, FL area when she died at her home there of cardiovascular renal disease and "senile changes".
Her husband was Stephen Loines, who predeceased her.
