Mary Ivy Kemp, 75, of Fredericksburg died on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mary was the daughter of Douglas and Wilma Ivy of Jackson, Mississippi. She worked for many years as the assistant registrar at the University of Mary Washington, retiring in 2005.
Mary is survived by her husband, William Kemp; sister Linda Scheffel of Jackson; nephews Brent Spence, Alan Spence, Jon Spence and Tommy Holley; and two nieces, Sarah Holley Williams,
and Emily Lauren Holley.
Mary was cremated at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg and her cremains were sent to Jackson, Mississippi where she will be interred next to her parents.
