Steven P. Lewis, age 54, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Born in Plainfield, he had resided in North Plainfield for many years before moving to Belle Mead 18 years ago.
Steven received an associate degree from Raritan Valley Community College. He was employed by the State of New Jersey in Trenton as a Legal Research Analyst.
Steven enjoyed taking family trips to Disney World in Orlando, FL. and attending concerts with his son. He loved a good debate, traveling to flea markets in search of Match Box Cars and making his wife laugh daily.
Predeceased by his father William J. Lewis, Jr.
Survived by his loving wife of 29 years Lisa (Corvino) Lewis; his son Evan Lewis; his mother Ann Marie Esteves; his siblings William, Kelly, Pam and Matthew and his wife Karen and many extended family and loving friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately.
