Larry graduated in 1975 from the Vocational School studying carpentry. Larry was a self-employed carpenter most of his life. He enjoyed playing basketball, softball, and watching the Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Terry Parks and a brother-in-law Stan Schmidt.
Larry is survived by his daughter Renee (Rob) Shotwell of Vincent, son Kyle Parks of Fleming, two granddaughters, Arizzona Albright and Raylen Shotwell, sisters Joyce (Ivan) Arnold of Lowell, Diane Schmidt of Marietta, Darlene (Mike) Divito of Belpre and several nieces and nephews and his friend Mary Beth Hopkins.
The family would like to express their appreciation for Mary Beth, whom offered Larry such kindness and comfort during his final days. The family will have a private service at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
