Lola Bell Lang Moore, age 67, a native of McIntosh, Alabama and a resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born June 18, 1949 to the late Mitchell Lang, Jr. and the late Madie L. Presley Lang. She was born on June 18, 1949. Lola was a member of The Church of God Pentecostal in McIntosh, Alabama.
Affectionately known as “Momita,” she was well-traveled, bilingual, and referred to herself “Phat, Fine, and Foxy.” During her stay in Zaragoza Spain, she won the crown “Ms. Zab” in the Zaragoza, Spain Beauty Pageant. Her culinary education was furthered from dietary nutrition to Second Chef for a major restaurant chain in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her passion was for the Lord, family and friends. Known for her sense of humor, words of wisdom, and savvy sense of fashion, her legacy was her heart for giving to those in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Pastor Spencer L. Lang, and a sister, Eula M. Reed.
She is survived by: one daughter; two sons; one brother; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, dedicated in-laws; dedicated cousins and special friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016, 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM Funeral Service at Church of God Deliverance of the Apostle Faith, 615 Patton Road, McIntosh, Alabama with Rev. Fredrick Lang officiating eulogist. Interment to follow at Vaughn Cemetery in McIntosh, Alabama. Arrangements by Andrews Funeral Home, 800 Depot Road, Jackson, Alabama.
