Jane's parents were James Armstrong and Mary Lowry who married in 1819. They had Jane and William Lowry Armstrong (1824-1871). She was also the wife of Henry Truelove, and together they had at least 2 children. They were living in Birmingham when Henry died in 1883, and she moved close to where her remaining son lived in Wellington, Shropshire (probably Admaston; where she was living when she died). She died in 1888 of Hepatitis and Congestion of lungs, with her son William present. She is buried in Wrockwardine; I believe at St. Peter's church graveyard, where she and husband Henry had lived while he was the Schoolmaster there in the 1871.
