Myrtle (Aycock) Little was born on September 11, 1888 in South Carolina, the daughter of States Rights "S R" Aycock (1860–1926) and Ella (Rogers) Aycock (1866–1946).
She was married to William Beverly Little (1879–1944) on December 29, 1908 in Buncombe, North Carolina, and he was the son of William Little (1843–1904) and his wife Catherine Matilda (Montgomery) Little (1846–1921).
Living in rural Davidson County, Tennessee, Myrtle was 66 years old and a widow when she died at Mid-State Baptist Hospital in Nashville on May 6, 1955 of a coronary thrombosis. Burial was three days later in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.
