The book of life began for Queen Ester Wilson On January 16, 1936. She
was born to Dora Mathis and Henderson Johnson. She received her formal
education from Louisiana. She confessed Christ at an early age in
Louisiana. Queen was united in holy matrimony to Zebedee Wilson Sr.,
on February 9, 1950 and moved to Milwaukee in 1958. She united with
Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor
McCullen. While at Mount Carmel, she was a member of the Mother
Board, Mission Board, Prison Ministry and was also a Deaconess. Queen
worked numerous jobs throughout her lifetime, but devoted all of her
loving care to bringing up her children and supporting her husband. Queen
Ester departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12,
2018.
Queen Ester Wilson lived a good and spiritual life. She kept the faith and shared the Word of God to all that she encountered on her Christian journey. She was one that would NOT back down or waiver when it came to
the Word of God. Queen left a wealth of love, knowledge, encourage
ment, discipline and life changing stories in the lives of her children,
friends and even those she just met day-by-day. Queen has finished her
course; she may now rest in peace. Our loss is Heaven's gain. She was a
true gift from to forever be remembered. Her favorite scripture was
Psalms 23; The Lord was truly her Shepherd.
Precious in the sight of God, is the death of his saints. Queen was
preceded in death by her husband, Zebedee Wilson Sr., Mother, Dora
Mathis, Father, Henderson Johnson, her grandparents and 4 sisters.
Queen leaves to cherish her loving memory: 8 daughters; Jeanette
Malone, Annette (Marvin) Wilburn, Rosemary (Valgene) Buford, Sandra
Wilson, Felicia Heggans, Sophia Wilson, Valesia Wilson and Rebekah
Wilson. 4 sons; Robert James Wilson, Zebedee Jr. (Veronica) Wilson,
Ricky (Donna) Wilson, Wrine (Cheryl) Wilson, 37 grandchildren, 39
great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren along with a host of
loving relatives and friends.
