On Thursday, August 8, 2019, Catherine R. Dean, the beloved wife of the late David H. Dean, Sr.; loving mother of Christine Dean, Lucian Dean, David H Dean, Jr. (Valerie) and Gregory (Alea) Dean; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 17 foster children, passed away. Funeral service was held at Borgwardt Funeral Home Beltsville, MD on Saturday, August 17, at 11 a.m. with The Reverend Moses Sangha officiating. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
