Theresa (Ferreira) Allen, 75, formerly of Clearview Drive in Richmond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the St. Elizabeth Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late William P. Allen for thirty-eight years.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Izaura (Teixeira) Ferreira.
Mrs. Allen worked as a dispatcher for the Richmond Police Department for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Hope Valley. She loved animals and cherished her family.
Mrs. Allen leaves behind three children, David Dellinger, Lanny Dellinger and Steven Dellinger, three step-children, Tina Allen, Tricia Allen and Paul Allen; seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. She was the sister of the late David Ferreira.
A Committal Service will be held, at a date and time to be announced, in the RI Veteran' Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited to gather in the Administration parking lot at a time to be announced. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4-6 pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown.
