Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Izaura (Teixeira) Ferreira.
Mrs. Allen worked as a dispatcher for the Richmond Police Department for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Hope Valley. She loved animals and cherished her family.
Mrs. Allen leaves behind three children, David Dellinger, Lanny Dellinger and Steven Dellinger, three step-children, Tina Allen, Tricia Allen and Paul Allen; seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. She was the sister of the late David Ferreira.
A Committal Service will be held, at a date and time to be announced, in the RI Veteran' Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited to gather in the Administration parking lot at a time to be announced. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4-6 pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown.
